Scholarship Program for Students of School District 54
MFF provides annual financial scholarships in the amount of $200 each to deserving students who are enrolled in one of the School District 54 ("SD 54") orchestra or band programs. Applicants will fill out the application form, and MFF, at its discretion, will select up to 15 students per year for the award. Teacher recommendation is not necessary but is a plus in selection. The award money needs to be spent toward the student’s music education or related expenses.
Application Submission: Please reach out to your band or orchestra teacher for directions. Scholarship recipients will be announced on November 10th, 2021.
Scholarship Program for Students of Magical Strings of Youth
MFF provides annual financial contribution to Magical Strings of Youth NFP ("MSOY"). The funds are used to provide scholarships to deserving students. The selection of students is at the discretion of the music director of MSOY. The award money needs to be spent toward the student’s music education or related expenses.
Scholarship Program for Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra
MFF provides annual financial contribution to Midwest Fine Arts NFP. The funds are used to provide scholarships to deserving students who are enrolled in Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra ("MPO") program. The selection of students is at the discretion of the music director of MPO. The award money needs to be spent toward the student’s music education or related expenses.
Scholarship Program for Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras
MFF provides annual financial contribution to Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras ("CYSO"). The funds are used to provide scholarships to deserving students who are enrolled in one of the CYSO programs. The selection of students is at the discretion of CYSO.
